OUR BREEDS
Although we love all dogs and have been blessed to also breed Norfolk and Airedale Terriers in the past, we are now focused on two breeds of terrier - the Cairn Terrier and rough coated Jack Russell Terrier.
Each breed has their individual traits both in terms of looks, character, and needs. Puppies are not always available, but please feel free to contact us to find out when the next litter of the breed you are interested might be, or for advice on which breed might suit you best. Prices on application.
CAIRN TERRIERS

The Cairn Terrier is a courageous, intelligent, spirited little dog. Despite being independent, they are loyal, adaptable dogs and make fantastic family pets but must be trained properly as they will take advantage of inconsistent owners. They were bred to hunt and have a strong hunt instinct so this along with their cheekiness can make them a handful if you don't like the typical cheeky- charmer traits of a terrier. However if you like a dog with real character , love your walks and are willing to put the time into training, these are fantastic little dogs to have in the family.
All our pure bred puppies are KC registered. All our Cairns are DNA tested or hereditary clear of CMO and are yearly eye tested.
Cairns can and often do, change colour throughout their life so although happy to advise on current and projected colouring, it is very hard (if not impossible) for us to guarantee the adult colour of each puppy. Our colours to date have varied from wheaten, wheaten brindle, cream, cream/grey brindle, red, red brindle and grey brindle.
JACK RUSSELL TERRIERS
We love all JRT's but now only breed rough coated, Kennel Club registered Jack Russell Terriers.
Jack Russells are typically happy, fun-loving little terriers and are great with family members of all ages. They were bred to be hunters so need consistent training from the start. An active home is necessary as a bored JRT can misbehave so proper daily exercise and mental stimulation is a must.
All of our JRT's are yearly eye screened and DNA clear of PLL, LOA, and SCA.
Markings will vary, however, all of our Jack Russells are rough coated and either white with tan, white with black, or tri colour.
